Kicks Mixer Routing

Hi, just wanted to confirm, in Acoustic Agent, there is no way to output the “Kicks” mixer bus out to it’s own output in the DAW? As seen here? I am trying to output it post effects in GA.

If you click on the green “Kicks” it will give you the option to select a new and/or separate output routing. If you don’t have that output already enabled in GA it will enable it automatically. It will create a new channel that you can route however you want.

This is in Cubase, right?

Yes, open an instrument track in Cubase using GA. Then, let’s say from the screen shot you’ve provided you click on the green labeled “Kicks”. It should open and give you a choice of which output you want that channel to go to. That new output channel will show in your Cubase mixer and you can then route it however you want.

When I look at it, I can output but it seems to be bypassing the mixer. It’s the raw kick sounds and sounds different than when it’s going through the master bus. I was wondering if I can route the “Kicks” bus to a different track in DAW and leave the test on master bus?

In Cubase, it should create a new separate channel in your mixer for the new output you created. It might sound different if the original routing was sent i.e. Kicks > Group > Master and that one of those had any effects assigned to them. You have created a new routing/output that is different now.

nm. i figured it out. i should be in the groups tab and do it from there. duh!!
