Kontakt 8 - no sound from recorded midi track

I using paid Kontakt 8 and am able to record Midi (I see the notes in the piano roll), but can’t get it to play. In the inspector, it’s routed out to my speakers, just like Halion. I don’t see any monitor or mixer activity.

On the piano roll, I can’t press keys on the left to sample the sound, and I can’t play through the sound on my midi keyboard.

I don’t have this trouble at all with Spitfire or Halion, or BBC.

Oh, in the Kontakt 8 program through Cubase, I can play the “banks” and sample all the sounds.

X’s explanation was incomprehensible. Any Clue?

I found the problem: Operator error. I had not fully loaded the instruments by double-clicking.
