Can anyone please guide me to a parce file for the Korg Triton Classic, which I would like to place into cubase for quick programme names?
Thank you
Hi. Not sure if this is the right one, but you could check. Cubase comes with patchname files for a number of instruments and the Triton is one.
Check here if on Windows, otherwise see if you can figure out the similar file structure on Mac:
C:\Users\ {username}\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 12_64\Scripts\Patchnames\inactive\korg
Sadly this one is not the factory that I have in the Triton Classic. The first sound in Combi is “Romance Layers”, which is not in any of their Triton sound lists. I am honestly quite stumped… Thanks for your help and any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Btw, I found this keyboard in a pawn shop recently, so needed to put it all back to Factory settings etc as the sounds had vanished. So, here I am… It is interesting for me to see that all the suggested sounds from Steinberg are nowhere to be seen.
Hi Jouleskeys.
Are you talking about the Factory Floppy Disks Triton setup files, or the Text/HTML file to set up the Triton as an external instrument in Cubase?
I have the Triton Classic Pro, and assuming the patches will work with your Triton Classic, I can send you the files.
There is a Text file that I’ve used with CB9, an HTML file that I now use with CB12 and the Factory Floppy Disk files that came with the Triton Pro Classic for initial setup.
To use the Factory Floppy Disk files, you will need to copy the files to Floppy Disks’.
If the Floppy Disk drive on the Triton has been replaced with a USB Floppy Disk emulator, you can copy the files to a USB 2.0 flash drive and upload to the Triton from there.
If you have no way of copying the Factory Floppy Disk files to blank floppy disks, I am able to post duplicated one’s to you, but this may take a little time.
I also have the Manual in PDF format, if you would like that as well.
Please PM me if you wish to obtain these files. Also please be aware that this may not be a quick response, but I will try my best.
That’s the one.
Hi Jouleskeys.
Please find attached below, the HTML parse file for the Triton. The original link has been deleted.
Korg Triton Classic Pro.xml (1.2 MB)
And these are the links for other Triton related goodies, like the Factory Pre-Load Disks, Manuals, and the Triton OS update among other various files that may be of interest to you.

I do think, investing in a USB Floppy Disk emulator would be a good idea.
If you require any additional info, let me know.
Good luck.
