I am about to do a full reboot of my orchestration/composing studio and migrate from another notation software and old macbook pro setup.
I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on the latest macbook pro/macbook air along with Dorico Pro 6. Is there a specific recommendation or warning regarding either laptop for use with DP6?

Any Apple laptop will run Dorico perfectly well. However, I’d suggest that you should choose more RAM than the minimum 16Gb. This is particular necessary if you plan to use large orchestral third-party sample libraries or work with other “pro” apps like Cubase or Logic at the same time.
24Gb should do nicely; 32Gb (or 36 in some configurations) will be more than a match for any task.
