The now outdated and non-functioning, and originally only partially functioning Touchpad2Midi software seemed like a genius idea.
The touchpad2midi software seemed idea (if your touchpad was supported) it would turn your laptops touchpad into a XY controller which would send data directly to a midi driver, feeding to your DAW’s midi inputs, can allow you to trigger MidiCC without the need to switch windows or mouse over any virtual sliders or knobs.
I haven’t been able to find anything similar that could work for me, on a Windows machine without the need to add an addition device of some sort to my setup.
For on the go, I don’t want extra devices and usually I can get decent enough midi from the virtual keyboard.
