Last page Justification Questions

I have set my Template and my Defaults for vertical justification and tor justifying last system.
When I finish a project, Dorico has reset the defaults. Shouldn’t I be able to set my preference and they not be set back by Dorico? Is there something I am missing?
THESE are my defaults and exactly the way they are set when I start working.
When I am through, both of these have been reset by Dorico.
Note Spacing justification UNCHECKED set as default.

Vertical Spacing set at 85% as default.

What I get & what I want:

I know how to reset both of these. If I have set them up before working on a project, saved them as defaults, why should I have to repeat this after finishing the project?

Layout Options are per layout. Did you select the correct one (or the correct ones) on the right?

I selected just the piano. Dorico reset my changes after entering music.
I have selected all layouts [parts] and have no way of saving as default…

I see, you mentioned that in your first message as well. Sorry, I must have read too quickly.

I don’t remember hearing about such a problem here… Could you share the file (or a cut-down version) and explain the steps to reproduce?
