Latch mode issue in expression maps Cubase 15

I love the expression map update. For me, this was worth the upgrade on its own.
I have found a tiny bug though, in one of the features that I really like:

You can only select what kind of latch mode you want when “key switches” is selected. This should be possible on “Program change” too.

I noticed that on all the maps I have made that use program change, the articulation wouldn’t stick unless I held the “button” down that executes the program change, it would revert back to the default articulation as soon as I let the button go.

The solution for now is to just temporarily change it to “key switch”, select the latch mode you want, and the select back to “program change”.

Otherwise this update has brought some life to my templates again. Very happy about this one.

actually, this not entirely true. I get different results. It works sometimes, and sometimes not.
So, the latch mode is buggy

Solved this by changing the behavior on my “program change unit” (in this case a touch screen)
Then it works fine. Interesting that I got a random result before, but since my touchscreen-change it is consistent at least.

Also read that the latch is only available in key switch mode.
