Yes. Computer first, with plenty of ram and a dedicated hard drive just for music production. I’m going to do this right the first time and not look back with regret, saying, “I shoulda got this or that” etc.
I plan on calling Joe first thing tomorrow and get the Motif thing straightened out.
Although, the Motif will only do MIDI over USB, I plan on addimg the newly acquired Tascam FW-1082 to handle the audio for the time being, until I purchase the yamaha firewire card that allows MIDI and Audio through the single firewire cable. Then using the Tascam as a control surface for Cubase.
