Latency or delay when recording multiple tracks

Music Studio 2.1 downloaded March 31,2020.
Android on Samsung S10 Version 11.0.40.13

There is a delay when recording multiple tracks. Record first track, then when record 2nd track, the sound is delayed perhaps half bar.
As well. if you try to record 2nd track to the metronome, it is also delayed.

How can I fix this? The app is unusable as is.

On many devices, Music Studio exhibits a slight latency at the beginning of an audio recording. Here’s a workaround:

  • Use headphones while recording, so that your new recording doesn’t contain the existing song in the background.
  • After recording, double tap the audio track and cut the first milliseconds away, to manually compensate for the latency in order to make it in sync to the metronome.
