Latency problems when I come back to an old project..

I bought last week a kemper profiler that I hook up with spdif.
I can track guitar without any problems and latency but when I quit and save my project and get back
to it later I got latency on spdif with the kemper trying to track a guitar??

Why?



My audio interface is an RME UCX with a macbook pro retina…

well i decided to turn off monitoring in cubase and use my total mix in the ucx.
