Launch Control 3 (Novation)

hello, I am using a Novation launch Control 3 (the new version).
I’m using it as Generic Remote, because I need it to control certain parameters (mainly the sends of the selected channel and the Gain and Freq of the Cubase channel Eq)

I have it mapped and it works. But, the question is, why does moving any encoder slow down the Cubase UI a little??? it’s a Novation or Steinberg thing.

note, I have tried creating a custom Script, but I don’t know why, it works very poorly. Novation provides its Script and although that one does work well, I can’t modify it to my liking. then you have the option to create a Custom Mode, and then the Cubase Script to taste. Like I said, encoders don’t behave well at all.

better to use the old and reliable generic remote. I don’t understand why Steinberg wants to eliminate it.

SOLVED!
It’s not a Cubase or Novation fault.

What was the solution? What was the actual problem?

Hello Pete!

it was a remote midi script, which must have been sending too many disasters, something like that. I thought it was a mistake with Novation’s LaunchControl, already, that was the last midi device I added to my system.

The problem itself was that when moving an encoder, the cubase GUI slowed down.

To solve it, I disconnected each script and checked the behavior of those who were connected, until with one disconnected, everything worked smoothly.

I notified the developer and he is working on it.
