Layout of a part when all I have is the part

I’m renotating the handbell part of a piece that also has choir and orchestra. All I have to work from is the original handbell part that didn’t follow handbell notation conventions. I don’t have any of the other parts.

Because this is from a much larger ensemble there are long stretches of rest. And I feel caught between two possibilities.

I can print out my full score, but it doesn’t show multimeasure rests but does show the subtitle, dedication, and arranger.

I can print it out as a handbell part, which shows the multimeasure rests but doesn’t show the subtitle, dedication, and arranger.

I suspect the answer has something to do with part layouts (which I’ve handled very little) or page templates (which I’ve had some experience with). Or with how to show multimeasure rests in the full score.

In depth guidance would be appreciated.

If you want to show the multi-bar rests in the score, it’s here (Layout Options>Players>Bar rests…)

If you choose the part layout (with multi-bar rests by default), you can apply the score page templates to it (Layout Options>Page Setup>Page Template, choose Default Full Score):

And certainly many other ways!

With both of the above mentionned solutions, you won’t have to create/modify a page template (which could be a third solution!)
