Layout Option-Bar Number-Placement relative to dynamics

If I choose “Outside dynamics,” it doesn’t save to the project. So every time when I open the project again, I need to reselect this option. Otherwise, it pops back to the “Inside dynamics” option. Is there a way I can save this option and don’t need to reselect it every time before I print?

Welcome to the forum, @Jasmine_composer. That sounds very much like a bug (which I am probably responsible for, since I did that work…). I will look into this, and if it is indeed a bug, I’ll make sure it gets fixed for the next update.

I think I can see what might be going on here. We have to fix up this option for projects saved in versions of Dorico earlier than 5.1.50, and we’re incorrectly applying the fix-up step to new projects as well. I’ll make sure this gets fixed – sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.
