Layout View Shifting to First Page When Switching Modes

Is there a setting somewhere that will keep the layout stationary when switching modes?

Hi @gplumblee,

  • try selecting something before switching. If you have the Preference > General > View > When switching tab or window, bring selection into view activated, it should work nicely.

  • There is also a Key Command Center Selection (also customisable from Preferences > Key Commands).

  • Or use the old trick: if something is selected, after switching mode, press P twice: once to start playback, so that the selection will become visible, and once to stop the playback (this needs of course the Project to be activated).
