Once again it appears to my semi-educated eye that Pianoteq is crashing and bringing down Dorico’s audio engine. I suggest you share the crash dumps with Modartt’s technical support. Hopefully they can see what is crashing inside Pianoteq and might have some ideas about how to fix it.

Daniel, I’ve updated to the latest version of Pianoteq, to no avail. I’ve reached out to their tech support and am getting no response.
Short of abandoning Pianoteq, is there anything I can do to fix the hang? It still happens, several times a day.
I had the same problem and send the crash reports to them, and they responded.

I use Pianoteq a lot and never had any hangs och crashes for what it’s worth.

Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do to correct the behaviour of crashing VST plug-ins, sorry.
