In einem Werbevideo von Dorico habe ich gesehen und gehört, wie großartig das neue Werkzeug “Liedtext bearbeiten” funktioniert. Ich kann diese Begeisterung nicht teilen. Hier kann man ja rein gar nichts machen, außer sich den Text ansehen und vielleicht einen Schreibfehler ausbessern!!
Man kann nicht einmal zu anderen Strophen oder zum Refrain wechseln. Man kann auch den Text nicht ohne Bindestriche exportieren, wie das etwa bei Finale möglich ist. Was soll hier so toll sein?
Mein Problem aber ist, dass ich zwar fähig bin, ein Leerzeichen innerhalb eines Wortes einzufügen oder auch einen Bindestrich - das ist ja im Handbuch gut beschrieben - aber leider wird dann der OK-Button ausgegraut. Man kann also den Text mit diesen Sonderzeichen dann nicht mehr abspeichern.
Dorico assumes that the number of syllables you start with is the correct number of syllables. If you have actually missed a syllable, try typing one more syllable at the end of your lyrics (in the actual score). Then open the Edit Lyrics dialog, remove the extra syllable at the end and add the space or hyphen where you need it.
Incidentally, this is also “well described” in the manual.
"3. Current number of lyrics
Displays the number of lyrics currently shown in the text editor and the target number of lyrics in the lyric line. The target number is the number of lyrics that already exists in the selected lyric line in the flow.
The current number of lyrics updates automatically as you work in the dialog. Dorico Pro requires the current number and target number of lyrics to match before you can confirm the dialog."
