Is there a list somewhere of the letter codes for durations? I just had occasion to create a 4:3 quaver tuplet, and ended up making a tempo mark so that I could open it and see what’s what (e in the case of quavers).
See page 7 of the popovers documentation.
Alternatively this page in the manual: Tuplets popover
It’s also listed in a dedicated table on the page for the tuplets popover.
Dorico uses American English terms for note values - so quarter note, eighth note, whole note etc. Most of the letters used for durations follow this pattern: q=quarter, e=eighth, x=sixteenth
Thank you both. e for eighth. I thought there would be a sensible explanation
