Since the latest update my libraries are no longer visible in the library manager. Rolling back to 3.2.20 made my libraries visible again. I tried to update again from the .dmg and had the same issue. I am using an 2018 intel Mac mini with macOS Monterey
So, I can read my libraries with 3.2.20, but am unable to log in to Download Assistant as it updates my library manager and breaks it again. This also prevents DA from reading my libraries and showing any updates for sound content. Therefore I am rather stuck. This is a temporary fix as whilst all of my sounds are working, updates will not be possible until a fixed version of the Library Manager is available.
Can somebody at Steinberg please look into this as I have two tickets, that have not been responded to regarding this matter?
I also have a problem with Library Manager 3.2.50. It cannot load libraries correctly. I have tried both 3.0.23 and 3.2.40 and it seems fine there.
The way I work with Download Manager now is to just have the installers downloaded. Then I close the download manager.
I return to /Applications the older version of Library Manager 3.2.40 and do the install. Maybe it would be possible to override Library Manager even if Download Manager is open after the update to that stupid version 3.2.50 is done.
I don’t know if in my case the symbolic link from /Library/Application Support/Steiberg/Content to my Content on the external drive is to blame
I use a symlink also, which never caused any issues previously. I also have the installers downloaded, but there are at times little sound/library updates that don’t appear as standalone installers and will only appear when it scans your current content, for which I assume it is using Library Manager. As it updates to the latest version on login, by the time it has logged in, my libraries have disappeared again, so it is unable to check my content. It only shows what is available by default. Media Bay can see my sounds and Activation Manager knows the content is activated through my account, so it all works otherwise. Essentially, Cubase can see my content, but the Library Manager cannot.
