When I load a Halion VST, it is too large to fit in the Cubase window. I can just see the top of keyboard. Enabling “limit window size” in options does nothing. Other VSTs are fine so I am able to work on my VSTs using a midi controller. But it would be nice to know what the deal is with the window size. Any thoughts? I’m using Cubase Pro 14. Display set to 1600x900 100%.
Have you resized the window so that it fits and then saved that size as the Default View?
Are you talking about the paid version of Halion? Because that has a very user definable UI.
Or do you mean Halion Sonic?
There is no “resize” icon in the upper right hand corner of the Halion window – as there is on the project and console windows.
My midi controller (Nektar Impact LX25+), becomes my keyboard.
BBC Symphony Orchestra works fine.
If Load Halion Sonic as a standalone, the window fits fine. It’s just when I’m using Halion Sonic with Cubase.
It’s the Halion Sonic that comes with Cubase. But I can load it as a standalone – and then there’s no size problem.
The info that you are talking about Halion Sonic is very important. Halion’s user interface is fully customizable, Halion Sonic’s not.
