Sorry if I miss any obvious step, but when creating a Line Annotation in the Music Symbol category and then create a second one, based on the first one (using the second + at the bottom), any modification in the new copy is also changing the first instance, therfore screwing up any line using that one. Undo in the line editor would be a great feature as well.
