Lines and arrows, 2 questions (applies to hairpins too)

  1. Is there a way to make lines, (I need arrows and hairpins, which I know are different tools) NOT avoid collisions by default, rather than turning it off on a case by case basis. I can see the option to turn each one off for line, but not hairpins. Lines is my priority.
  2. Is it possible to attach 2 or more lines or two (or more) hairpins to the same note? I know it sounds strange, for hairpins, but I had an example of a flautist singing into the flute while playing, and the dynamic for the “lyric” created vowel sounds was different to that for the played notes (don’t ask, I don’t have an answer, but I needed to do it). When there were enough notes I could attach them to different notes and manually drag them to position, but this isn’t always an option

I managed this by putting two (same) notes in different voices and attached a hairpin to each.

In Engrave mode one of them was dragged down, and voice column index of one of the notes was set to 0

That’s a great option, thank you. I certainly didn’t think of that. It is also possible to hide notehead/leger lines and stem without losing the two hairpins. Nice one, thank you.
