I’ve not really had the need to post on the Dorico Forum because I’ve found the program a delight to work with, and Dorico’s documentation is quite thorough. (That said, I’ve never done any playback of scores in Dorico.)
This morning I found some unexpected behavior with a score created in either v. 6.1 or 6.20. I went to make some corrections to the score using v. 6.2.30 and discovered that certain lines I created in the earlier version did not retain their position when the score was printed. It seems as though switching to Print mode caused the lines to drop down several spaces.
As far as I can tell, this has affected dotted lines with an upward pointed hook at the end point. I deleted both lines and then added them back. One line retained its position in Print mode, but the other did not.
I read in the release notes that v. 6.2.30 improved the handling of lines, but I wonder if I’ve encountered a bug. I thought I’d mention this in case it is a bug and others have encountered a similar problem.
