Link Project and Mixer history?

Hello, I’m relatively new to Cubase and while I’ve tried to find information on this topic, I haven’t had much success so here I am.

I’m wondering if there’s a preference somewhere to link the regular project history, like changes made in the arrangement window, with the mixer history. While I’m sure there’s plenty of benefits having them separated, I honestly find it a bit confusing and tedious to deal with. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

for the longest time there was no history for the mixer so something tells me it is separate from the project history.

Oh really? That must have been a massive pain. Guess I’ll just have to get used to having separate key commands for both.

yes… for me it makes sense to have it separate tough. often do I undo stuff in my project window but still want my mixer settings to stay the same. BUT I guess I am used to it :slight_smile:
