Linking channels

Hi!

I have made a template where I have made several link groups, connected to VCA-faders. For example I have a link group for the lead sounds. My problem is the following: When I select one of the lead MIDI channels, the sound of all the others are also played back when I play my MIDI-keyboard. I would like to be able to play with one sound at a time , and to be able to play aorund with this sound and see how it fits with the rest of the music. Is there any way to change the settings so not all the sounds of the link group are played back at once?

You can control record arm and monitoring independently of links using alt key.

You may also want to disable “Enable Record on Selected Midi Track” in Preferences/Editing/Project & MixConsole to stop them getting automatically armed as a group when you select any one.
