Thanks, great link. I think the Template building heâs done is amazing. Iâm only a few months into Cubase, but Iâm seeing how, over time, you can build templates and track archives for use in future new projects or expanded versions of existing projects. It takes time.
On youtube the Future Music channel has some interviews with professional Cubase creatives, too many to mention here, actually. Some use other platforms, but the interviews and studio tours are good.
Silvestri?
Iâm kind of wishing that there was a list too. I just watched a video from the Cubase website on a guy named Ian Kirkpatrick out of L.A. who produces with artists including Selena Gomez and Justin Beiber. He talks about how important Media Bay is to his workflow. So no one really knows the thousands of songs that are composed in Cubase. Itâs much bigger than people give it credit for, so how about getting the Steinberg marketing team to find a way to make this more public. Many orchestral composers use it. They use Pro Tools only to send the finished files to post. So PT gets credit for Cubaseâs work. I read that the reason that they donât switch to Nuendo is mainly due to the cost, but that could just be hearsay. So letâs get a catch phrase as firestamper suggests. The problem with having all these great Cubase user stories is that you only get the motivation videos after youâve bought the product. How about marketing to the people who donât use it yet. Just a thought.
