Little confused about new Steinberg Licensing

I have a USB licence for Cubase12 Pro upgraded from Ciubase 11. My question is when this deadline in May for e-licenser ends will I have problems. Basically what I want to know is do I have to download anything like a new Steinberg Licenser or any other download like the Download assistant or activation manager to keep my current Cubase12 Pro license.

I would start here:

That has links to all the different help-center topics.

Quick answer is that your USB dongle will keep working beyond eLicensing sunset. So make sure you take care of that thing

I’ve read that but I was thinking that if one thing ended(e-licenser) then I would have to download something to take it’s place.

The reporting is that if you already have a USB dongle-based license, that will continue working. I can’t personally verify that but this has been discussed quite a lot here and that is the published response.

You DO have the newer Cubase installed and activated, right?

Yes I’ve had it ever since Cubase12 Pro first came out.
According to MyProducts in MySteinberg the Cubase12 Pro that I have on an USB dongle was done through Steinberg Licensing. So maybe I’ve nothing to worry about.

Where it says show products through Steinberg Licensing my Cubase12 Pro shows up…so I guess it was installed in 2022 sometime

Cubase Pro 12 is not on your USB dongle. It was the first Cubase to work with the software based Steinberg licensing.
Good news: You don’t have to do anything.
