Lock durations question

Is there a way for lock durations to auto advance to the next note?

It does advance to the next note after every input for me, unless Chord Input Mode is active. Or am I misunderstanding you?

Yes with chord input mode. I usually add notes with the shift-I popover, but some things are quicker to enter with chord mode and lock durations.
I know chord mode stays open to allow more notes, but it would be useful to be able to just type a line under or above another.

You could copy the voice, change the pitches with Lock Duration and then merge the two voices. Should be very quick.

That’s what I’m doing at the moment.

Steve: I’ve commented on this elsewhere, and not everyone agrees with my method, but I remapped the Q key to bring up the intervals pop over. So my left hand hovers on the Q, right hand uses the minus key if necessary, LH types the interval number, then RH hits the Enter key. I have found it slightly faster than either the chord function or Shift-I, but YMMV.
