Lock on audio waves?edit not possible?

Hey Cubase flockintelligence,

I can’t edit or change wave tracks in a Backup project because they have a "lock"on them?! why is that and is there a way to overcome this?
I took the project from our Recording Studio PC as a Backup to my home PC…its all Cubase…I am at the end of ideas here…

Hi and welcome to the forum,

You could lock the given Audio event in the Info Line. Or you could lock the whole track (you would see an orange lock symbol on the track in the list).

You could also freeze the track, which locks the Audio events.
