Lock Region to SMPTE timecode position

I am trying to do some tempo changes under a few audio files (logic beatmapping style). I lock the regions but this only locks the regions to the tempo grid, not the time grid.

I’ve scoured the manual and the net, can’t find anything. Any ideas?

FOUND IT

open the track inspecter and under the record button, hit ‘toggle timebase between musical and linear’ you’ll want linear.

A bit different of a method but whatever. I’ll leave this here for everyone else who is wondering.
