It would be useful, if one could manually prevent a certain windows from updating their position if playback is started.
If, in split view, you want to keep focus on a certain part of the score in one view in order to compare it to other sections (and audition those sections) shown in another view.
It could similar to Logic X, where this can be activated/deactivated by pressing a small switch found in every corresponding window.
For now, can’t you do this with several independent project windows?
As far as I can see, the "play"command triggers the playhead-line in every project window.
