For days I haven’t been able to download any software with the Steinberg downloader. I also can’t log into the forum or reach the support page without my connection being completely blocked.
The only way I was able to login to the forum here was to use my phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot and send requests through Apple’s built-in proxy service.
I do normally have a VPN, but I’ve turned it off and I’m still blocked. I’ve tried changing my IP address by using my phone as a mobile hotspot, but that doesn’t work either. Whatever service is blocking me is more complex than just an IP address block.
Can someone help unblock me so I can update the software? Only Safari goes through Apple’s proxy, so the downloader tool still can’t connect, even though I was able to log in to the forum.
It says that I can download from a downloads page, but I’m not sure if that’s going to affect my current installations in a way that’s going to cause problems.

Edit: I cycled through VPN locations until I got to one that could reach the download page for Steinberg Download Assistant. I was able to download a new version of that and log in. I’m not sure how to get my IP addresses unblocked though.
