Logic editor velocity scale (Input Transformer)

Hi, I have an old DX7… I love it, and I love the keys for recording midi tracks in cubase… but it only gives 108 highest velocity…

How can I use logical editor to increase the velocity to reach 127 highest velocity and still stay at 1 for lowest velocity

You can do this with the Input Transformer, like this:

That doesn’t seem like the best solution.
The second filter (Vel> 64) results in the following curve between Vel In and Vel Out of the Input Transformer:

If the second line above (Vel>64) is omitted, you get a consistently linear curve:
