As I am playing a bass drum double pedal, I wanted to have all the notes that are not on the beat to a different note, so that it would be clear in the score.
there was a factory logical editor setup that would change all notes in a position to a different velocity.
I changed it so it should move the downbeat notes to another pitch and leave the ones in between. Can someone tell me what is wrong that all the notes on C0 move instead of just the ones on the beat?
Hi,
First of all, you have the Type Is Equal Note filter twice. The one on top is enough.
Second, you are searching for position 1.1.1 And 1.1.2. Change this to Or.
And third, you are searching only for C0 notes. Is this wanted?
I was wondering why it wasn’t working, when I thought I had it work before, so I went back to try the changes. I actually found that I had another setup with a different name. I did only want the C0 ones changed and it did just the ones on the beat. but what was strange was that it kept doubling the number of notes that were moved to the new note. I kept going over it and couldn’t figure out why, but finally but just first selecting all the C0 notes, it worked as intended. See any reason why they would have to be first slected, since it is just refering to C0?
