LOGICAL PRESETS- what happened to them???

The Logical Presets menu is there, but greyed out. I really need those back. Help much appreciated. :slight_smile:

Anyone??? I remember when this forum actually was full of very knowledgeable users members that were willing to help out. How about the phone # for Cubase tech support then?

are you sure there is data in the project the LE can work with (like MIDI events)?

if the project’s blank it will be unavailable.

I had the same problem when updating from 7.0 to 7.5. This was the solution:

Copy all presets from
\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase xx\Presets
to
%appdata%\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase xx\Presets

Same here, upgrade does not fully import all of the settings from C.7 xxx. It took me a while to figure that out. Strange how it does on some systems and not others.

I found the only way i could get all the midi presets including the logic editor presets to work was to copy them from C7.5 to the User Preference folder in the start menu of C8 :wink:

Thanks for everyone’s help & suggestions. I got it solved by doing the copy/paste thing with my 7.5 files. Not sure why 8 didn’t install those files, though.
