HALion 5.1.1.60, OSX 10.10.2, and LPX 10.1 here.
H5 loads and functions without issues.
Does this happen with all projects, including new Empty? Or just a specific project file?

Did you have the the previous version of H5 installed?
If so, did that work properly?
For me (same setup) it crashes when REMOVING programs (instruments) - remove one, I might be OK, but remove a 2nd one and guaranteed crash.

it sounds that we have two problems here.
- HALion 5.1.1 will crash when it will be loaded in Logic 10.1 … “claesbjo” can you send me your full crash log? As a PM (private message).
- HALion 5.1.1 will crash when programs will be removed. “Protocol_b” and “VicJonesBeats”: It happens all of the time? Can you give us an exact description about what you are doing?

Hello, when loading projects, or loading presets it will crash. Also I can’t or more than maybe 2 or 3 Halion 5’s open or it will crash.
Groove Agent is also crashing Logic Pro X 10.1 in the same way as halon 5
I´m not sure how to submit crash log, to many characters in the log.

You can add me to the list of those that experience the crash on startup of Logic Pro X. I can re-install with the latest Halion 5 install image from Steinberg, and get one good instance, but, after a restart of of Logic…Same problem.
Crashing here too. Everything was smooth sailing until I actually bought it when the demo expired. Now I’m getting crashes everytime I close a Logic 10.2 project and also everytime I close a Vienna Ensemble Pro project. Both of these use the audio unit version of the plugin.
I don’t want to hijack this Logic-thread, but I have the problem that Halion 5 and other Steinberg plug-ins will crash Ableton when the AU version is loaded in a 64 bit Ableton project. Just in case it’s part of the same problem.
