long pause at 'content' scan at start up

for some reason when cubase is starting up on the splash screen when it reaches “content” it hangs for a while, it used to ‘pause’ only for few (about 3) seconds before, now its about a minute.

Have you installed new content recently?

No, But I installed Presounus StudioLive update, that’s all. can it be the cause?

I don’t think so. Unless it it putting stuff in the folders where Cubase looks… It could also be related to licenses or dongles because when Cubase scans the content, it probably looks for licenses for that content as well.

I just got a “program not responding” at cubase splash screen when it was paused at “content” scan.
