I realize this is off-topic, but I don’t have posting privileges in the Nuendo forum. I am a new Cubase 7 Artist user who wants to record rhythm tracks in a studio and then add vocal, guitar, whatever at home. Then probably do the final mix in the studio before taking it in for mastering.
I’ve worked with a Pro Tools studio in a similar way when I was using Cubase LE, exporting my home tracks to .wav files and taking them in on a usb drive. I figure communications between Cubase and Nuendo should be less hassle. Also, I prefer to avoid the real-time export/mixdown of Pro Tools.
