Hello all. I’m brand new to Cubase Pro 13 so please forgive the nativity of the question. Whilst using Cubase LE, I could hear a preview of any loop in the Media Bay just by clicking on it. However, in Cubase Pro 13 when I click on a loop although I can see it’s playing no sound comes out. When I drag the loop into the project window proper it sounds perfectly though. What do I need to do to hear the previews in the Media Bay please?
Are you using the Control Room ? I ask this, because you have a Preferences > VST > Control Room > Use Phones Channel as Preview Channel setting that could go in the way. FWIW, I have this one constantly activated, as I have two independent output hardware busses that allow this, but maybe it’s not your case…
Nope, not using control room.
Ok. Be sure that the Control Room is actually disabled, then. Beside this, what is your audio interface and could you post a screenshot of your Studio > Audio Connections > Outputs panel ?
