Hi!
Still testing your brilliant and latest Cubase 15. Today I tried my looprecording session and got one very unpleasant bug. Recorded some 5 tracks in a loop and when last track recorded, I click on Record Enable of active track, then quickly Mute clip (not track) just to play live the same instrument and not record it, but the sound is off like if I Mute track, but the track Mute state is off. I guess it’s a bug. The only way to get the sound back is to navigate (keys Down and Up) to another track and go back, then sound is back.
Thanks. It didn’t helped the way you thought, but it pushed to search and find the solution. In Cubase 14 I had Punch In/Out selected in Common Record Modes, but in Cubase 15 it was set to Re-record (after C15 obtained the preferences from C14) and I didn’t understood why it restarts recording from initial position after I click Record button to disable recording while playing.
In preferences I had Manual, switched to Tapemachine and it didn’t affect anything. I just forget that Record Enable does monitoring on the selected track.
It depends on the settings. So this isn’t a general rule.
