I have a Steinberg UR-242 audio interface and am using Windows 11 Business Edition 25H2. I have the latest driver for the interface and for some reason, recently I have been unable to get loopback to work with any of my DAWs (Cubase Pro 15, Ableton Live Suite).
I am using OBS to record audio from the DAW and it worked fine a few months ago, but this past week when I tried, it hasn’t been working. OBS records audio from youtube or a live stream on Twitch, but doesn’t pickup the sound from my DAW. I enabled loopback in the settings and tried matching sound settings to 44.1 khz, but still can’t get it to work.
I even tried using Reastream plugin which used to work fine, but not it doesn’t work either. I wonder if it’s the new Windows 11 update 25H2 because I think the prior update didn’t cause this issue. If it’s the new update, does anyone know of a solution?

UPDATE: I fixed the issue by turning on microphone permissions in Windows 11 settings. Found a similar issue online at OBS forums that mentioned turning on the microphone permissions.
