I use HS 3 and my friend uses HS 2. The two have, among others, HS Artist in common. When I work on a project, I make sure I use only the instruments available in HS Artist. When I bring my project to my friend’s computer, the MIDI data is preserved of course but the MIDI instrument assignment on my friend’s HS Artist is lost. My project file should remember which MIDI instrument are selected if the same sound module (HS Artist in his case) is used? In other words, how do I carry these instructions across platforms?
