Loss of presets

Hi guys, all of a sudden cubase 12 has lost all presets on all cubase vsts. there are none to select in projects.

any ideas without having to reinstall ?

Are you talking about the built-in Steinberg or 3rd party VSTs, please?

yes, all the presets are just blank all of a sudden. ive not changed anything
