Hi Forum, I use Cubase 5 with audio and midi. The midi includes keyboard, drum module and synth instruments. I used this set-up for years but I had a serious hard drive failure and had to get a new one and start Cubase again. Although the audio is fine, the pc no longer recognises midi. When I connect up keyboard, drums and synths I get the midi signal, but not when it goes through the pc via USB. I have gone into the midi device set-up and selected GM as my devices are not listed in the selection of instruments. I used to be able to play the drums and synth instruments through the keyboard, but not any more. How can I get midi back?
