Hello, I’ve been speaking to a Steinberg rep and they haven’t been able to help so I hope someone here can help.
When regularly speaking and testing the mic, it sounds perfect! The levels and sound are great. As soon as I press record, the recording levels are very low and the playback is even lower. I tried listening to the playback from headphones and speakers but it still sounds like someone was holding a pillow to my mouth. What could the issue be?
I contacted M-Audio and was told the issue was with Cubase. I tried my same set up in Logic X and everything worked properly. Please help!
