So far as I know, audio is always exported using the current Mixer settings, so the gain etc. set in the Mixer will be the ones used for the audio export. On Windows, for example, it’s possible to set application-specific volume levels in the Sounds applet – perhaps you’ve got Dorico’s volume set higher than whatever media player you’re using?
