Loyalty Rebate - what is the difference between Pro 13 and Pro 13 Full Version?

Good morning, I already have licenses for Cubase Pro 13, Dorico Pro 5 and Absolute 6.

We have the offer of the Loyalty Rebate and although I see the word “rebate”, I feel as if I am getting charged when I redeem because I see the word “saving and checkout”.

Is there a difference between a Pro version and the Full version as I see on the invoice?
Am I going to be charged or credited?

Thanks, BC

Hi,

We don’t see the context, where you can read the “Full version”.

But, the Pro version is the Cubase edition. Cubase editions are: Pro, Artist, Elements, AI, LE.

The “Full version” mostly means it’s not an update/upgrade/crossgrade.

Thank you Martin for replying,

Attached hopefully will show you my confusion. It is a screenshot of my available vouchers, My Products and the product in the Cart. As you can see I have Cubase Pro 13 already and in the cart it is shown as the Full Version.

Also, the words on the Website are confusing me also. The way I am interpreting this is that I have and activated Cubase Pro License and I can get 70% off on the Full Version.

----- If you have an activated license for Cubase Pro 13 , Dorico Pro 5 , WaveLab Pro 12 , or Nuendo 13 in your Steinberg user account, you can enjoy exclusive loyalty rebates of up to 70% on the full versions of Cubase Pro 13, Dorico Pro 5, WaveLab Pro 12, and Absolute 6 in the Steinberg Online Shop during the promotion period.

The loyalty rebate vouchers are mainly intended for customers who haven’t the corresponding versions yet. As you already own Cubase Pro 13, you probably don’t need to buy another license except you want to activate it on more than 3 computers at the same time.

As @Martin.Jirsak mentioned, “Full version” means the offer is not for an update from an earlier version but for a new license primarily aimed at people who don’t have a license yet.

If you like, you could use the loyalty voucher to buy WaveLab Pro with a 70% discount.

Thank you Martin, your explanation makes sense to me…

Have a great day! Bob
