Lucid Dream (Cubase 15 Pro)

Hi All,

To create this track, I focused heavily on custom sound design, vocal programming, and mixing entirely “in the box”. Here is the software setup used for this project:

  • DAW: Steinberg Cubase 15 Pro

  • VST Instruments & Sound Design:
    * Xfer Serum 2: Used for designing the deep house basslines and main synth plucks.
    * Arturia Pigments 7: For creating atmospheric pads, chords, and organic strings.
    * Steinberg Backbone: For advanced sound design and custom sample creation (FX, drum textures).
    * Drum Machine: For pattern programming and driving the main groove.

  • Vocal Synthesis:
    * Dreamtonics Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro: Used for programming, tuning, and crafting the entire vocal performance.

Really good! I love the overall feel of the song. There’s a nice balance between upbeat and more ethereal passages. Very well done.

Very good!!! I love the part 02:00 to 02:30, the break of the vocals and this very light synth notes, perfectly executed.

I was thinking to get Dreamtonics Synthsizer V Studio Pro, I already used the v1.0 in 2024 but as I recall it could have been as trial, altough I still have Rosalia (I think it’s her name) vocals. But for the moment it’s not at all my priority. Just to say they’re very for AI vocals and I found the voice you used fits perfectly the genre you made and almost non recognizeable as AI.
