Hi. I have a follow-up that is related to this thread. I’m importing a MIDI file from Dorico 5 into Nuendo 12. Dorico cannot export lyrics with MIDI, so I get the notes only. I then use the notepad in Nuendo’s Score Editor settings to add lyrics. That works great. Then I export the MIDI from Nuendo and import it into Synthesizer V. The lyrics ARE included. However, the track name (Soprano circled in the screenshot) is also included as the first word of the lyrics, throwing off the placement of the actual lyrics by one word. I can’t find a setting in Nuendo to correct this behavior. Is there something I can do before creating the MIDI file to prevent the track name from becoming part of the lyrics?
