Curious to see if this new and last official version of Tahoe (26.6] is more reliable and stable with Nuendo 15 before I update. There’s been quite a few folks that have not had great experiences with Tahoe and recommend Sequoia instead. I’m hoping this latest update improves the situation before I upgrade my OS.
Not sure about you, but usually one waits for a few weeks before seeing if it is stable enough for your setup… I refuse to be a guinea pig.
We started evaluating MacOs 26.6 on our studio “test bed” computer that we use to test new OS versions and updated versions of studio software and hardware drivers. So far, no major issues have been encountered, however, we just stated last night during some free time. So, we are not reporting all is good. We are moving forward with this early evaluation because of all the priority security fixes that are included with this update…mainly related to AI threats.
Has anyone else started evaluation of MacOs 26.6? If so, what have you found.
No problems so far. But things will really get “fun” with macOS 27. I’m definitely going to stay away from that one for now. Just the usual stuff, until Steinberg and the others have everything sorted out. 26.6 was just a warm-up, after all.
So far so good with 26.6 here too.
We will not be moving in to 27.0 “Golden Gate” until a long time after the release. I expect that one to be a potentially big problem. Hopefully, my expectations will be proved wrong. ![]()
Have a great day.
Anyone else?
…working fine (in general) here (26.6).
