Just a note to other Mac users who might use USB Overdrive, a generic mouse and HID driver. I used it so I could continue using my Kensington Trackball after that company stopped supporting it.
USB Overdrive caused Cubase to crash in certain conditions. With it uninstalled the crash does not occur.
I replaced it with ‘Steer Mouse’ and which seems to be working fine.
